Gizmos and Gadgets

Here are some of the little trinkets that I liked in some of the different sites that I was looking at.

I love the little stars. They are so geometric and pointy and fun. 

 Having little lights in them would be difficult, but oh so much fun to have.

These remind me of geodesic spheres... maybe have the metal mesh a little less ordered, but this is the metal and flowers that I enjoyed.

I like the little spoon gun... shows the neat and clean version of old vs new mentality.

This locket with all of the gears and the bead... would be fun for the bride's maids to wear if I decide to have any.

I like the bottom of the bouquet being wrapped by wire, but not the top.

I like the look of the dress and the jacket combination.

Wedding cake possibilities

Here are some cake ideas

I like the ruffles effect of this cake... I figure it will be fairly easy to do with fondant or marzipan.... if we can get some:)

I also like the idea of a cake made out of little cakes...

I just love this cake.

I like the  twistyness of the cake.

I enjoyed the middle layer and the pearls in between the layers 

Another variation on the cupcake tower.

For a more simple idea, I like the draping of the fondant. 

 Plants trapped in glassware is fun too.

Wedding Ponderings part two

So I can't find anything with my ideas in the correct colors or anything so here are a few other ideas to completely confuse you.

I like the idea of a lot of glassware, like an old fashioned version of a modern lab... with glassware that you can't quite understand what it is used for being filled with flowers.

Not entirely certain of how to arrange the flowers, but here's another picture of the upside down flowers in the glasses.

I really like the metal mesh of this piece... I was thinking something less harsh, but just as webby... maybe a bronze or a white wire mesh in a twisty design... like a vortex or something.

I like the crushed crystalline lattice look of this one. too dark for my taste, but still has some of the design elements that I was looking for.
