So I can't find anything with my ideas in the correct colors or anything so here are a few other ideas to completely confuse you.
I like the idea of a lot of glassware, like an old fashioned version of a modern lab... with glassware that you can't quite understand what it is used for being filled with flowers.
Not entirely certain of how to arrange the flowers, but here's another picture of the upside down flowers in the glasses.
I really like the metal mesh of this piece... I was thinking something less harsh, but just as webby... maybe a bronze or a white wire mesh in a twisty design... like a vortex or something.
I like the crushed crystalline lattice look of this one. too dark for my taste, but still has some of the design elements that I was looking for.

I think there is a lot of good material to work with here. I look forward to seeing your sketches.
One thing to note is that Stephanie already has one thing along these lines she wants to do; I'll have to get you the picture.
